About the Job
My client is a gaming company looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in a fully remote capacity within the United States. This role bridges data, product, and business strategy — translating player behavior, revenue, and operational data into actionable insights that shape game features, monetization strategy, and business decisions.
What You'll Get To Do
Analyze player engagement, retention, and monetization data to identify trends and opportunities
Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to define requirements for new features and initiatives
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key business and game performance metrics
Conduct ad hoc analyses to support pricing, live-ops events, and marketing campaign decisions
Translate business questions into structured analyses and clear, actionable recommendations
Document business processes, requirements, and workflows for cross-functional stakeholders
Present findings and insights to leadership and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, digestible format
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Experience
3+ years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or similar analytical role
Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into business narratives
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in the gaming, entertainment, or live-service software industry
Familiarity with mobile or free-to-play monetization models (e.g., IAP, ads, live-ops)
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
